Turmeric Milk

So I really love coffee, but coffee is really not always my friend. Especially as the air gets colder, my immune system is working a bit harder and I am super busy at work.

I am tempted to reach for the coffee when I feel like I have a lot to do and I love the ritual of my morning coffee... grinding the beans or stopping off at our lovely local coffee shop before work.

But, I can tell when I need to stop. If I'm honest with myself when I drink coffee my sleep isn't as good, I do feel a little wired and my mood with the children isn't as good as it could be.

So for the last few weeks I have been making myself a turmeric latte in the morning. I've also bought a stainless steel flask so I can take it to the office and avoid feeling lost without my warm morning drink.

And it's actally pretty good. Delicious in fact and has all the amazing benefits of turmeric.

I would really suggest you try it.

Here's the basic recipe. Some mornings I've added some vanilla, ginger, lucuma or even a pinch of chilli and cayenne when it's been cold.

Turmeric Milk

One cup of plant milk - oat, nut, hemp (coconut is yummy!)

1 tsp turmeric

1 tbsp coconut oil

Heat the milk, add to the blender with the turmeric and coconut oil and give it a wizz!!!!

Easy peasy.

Just a quick heads up on Christmas - I am finishing work on the 20th December and my Hereford Clinic is very nearly full before then. I have some spaces in London on 12th & 13th December so if you would like to see me please call the office ASAP - 01432 265565.

Debbie x
